Jennifer Kelly, MA, LAC

Jennifer is a Licensed Associate Counselor (LAC) with a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Kean University. In addition, Jennifer has experience working as a school counselor in the school setting. Jennifer primarily focuses on working with adults to alleviate their symptoms of anxiety and depression. Additionally, Jennifer incorporates her education and experience in nutrition through training at Institute of Integrated Nutrition, into her work with clients.

Jennifer believes in the importance of creating a compassionate and non-judgmental atmosphere in therapy, as she understands it can be hard to take those first steps. Therapy can help us to overcome challenges when we feel stuck. Jennifer incorporates a variety of modalities including CBT, REBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness Practice. Jennifer works together with her clients to find what strategies and solutions are most helpful in reaching your goals and regaining control in challenging situations. She believes in taking a whole person approach to therapy to help clients understand how mind, body, lifestyle, relationships, diet and nutrition can affect mental health.  Jennifer explores these areas at her clients pace, as they work towards change and discovering their inner strengths.
