What drew you to this type of work?

I’ve been drawn to psychology since high school and continue to be fascinated by how people think, feel, and behave. Gaining a deeper understanding of how individuals experience and interpret the world is essential to meaningful therapeutic work. Being able to witness real growth and positive change in both children and adults is one of the most rewarding aspects of what I do.

What do you value most in the therapeutic relationship?

I deeply respect the courage it takes for clients to show up with honesty and vulnerability in therapy. Creating a safe, supportive space where individuals feel comfortable sharing openly—without fear of judgment—is the foundation of meaningful therapeutic work and the most valuable part of the relationship.

How does your training shape the way you approach therapy?

My training in school psychology and cognitive behavioral therapy provides a strong, practical framework for assessing and working with children, adolescents, and families. In addition, my background in sport psychology allows me to integrate approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing when supporting athletes, with a focus on building mental skills, resilience, and performance.

Who might benefit most from working with you?

Children and adolescents in need of psychoeducational evaluations may benefit from my thorough and developmentally informed approach. I also enjoy working with athletes - particularly those returning to play following injury - all levels within a sport psychology framework to strengthen mental skills, confidence, and performance.
