What drew you to this type of work?
I was drawn to therapy through a deep appreciation for the power of having a space where people feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. I have always been someone others feel comfortable opening up to, and I believe healing begins in environments rooted in warmth, safety, and understanding. Social work initially drew me in for its diversity and holistic perspective, but therapy became my focus when I recognized how meaningful it is to sit with people through life’s hardest moments—normalizing struggles, offering steady support, and helping clients make sense of their experiences. I am especially passionate about creating a calm, non-judgmental space where children, teens and young adults can show up as themselves and work through challenges at their own pace.
What do you value most in the therapeutic relationship?
I value the therapeutic relationship above all else. I believe healing happens when clients feel safe, supported, and in control of their own healing process. My role is to create a trusting, non-judgmental space where clients can lead the work while I offer guidance, tools, and gentle perspective as needed. I strive to build relationships rooted in respect, collaboration, and authenticity, so clients feel empowered to explore their experiences and move toward meaningful change at their own pace.
How do you integrate different modalities to meet each client where they are?
I take a relational, client-centered approach, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of the person in front of me. I combine evidence-based methods such as CBT, DBT, and mindfulness with creative approaches like art and reflective exercises, always grounding interventions in connection and understanding. I prioritize processing and healing alongside practical tools, helping clients explore their experiences, build coping skills, and make meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for them.
Who might benefit most from working with you?
Children, teens and young adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, body image concerns, grief, academic or career stress, or major life transitions often resonate with my approach. I work well with individuals who are thoughtful, self-reflective, or feeling stuck and are looking for a calm, affirming space to explore their experiences. Clients seeking both emotional support and practical tools to navigate change tend to find our work together especially meaningful.
