Katie McLoughlin, MSW, LSW, is a dedicated and seasoned social worker with over a decade of comprehensive experience in providing high-quality care and support to adolescents, adults, and families across various settings. Katie’s career began in the challenging yet fulfilling environment of the New Jersey Department of Children and Families. In this pivotal role, she was at the forefront of responding to child abuse and neglect referrals, where she conducted thorough assessments for follow-up case management and connected families with crucial services tailored to their specific needs. This experience laid the foundation for Katie’s development into a resourceful and skilled professional, capable of navigating complex situations with creativity and empathy.

Before transitioning to the educational sector, Katie further honed her skills in a partial hospitalization program focused on children aged 2.5 to 6, where she gained significant experience in early childhood intervention. Additionally, her work with children and young adults on the autism spectrum and with developmental disabilities has equipped her with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and strengths these individuals possess, enabling her to provide targeted and effective support.

With over 12 years of professional practice, Katie has demonstrated a profound ability to engage with a diverse client base through individual, family, crisis intervention, and group modalities. She specializes in addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral issues, with particular expertise in treating anxiety and depression.
