Glenn Hofferber, MS, LAC, NCC

Glenn Hofferber is a Licensed Associate Counselor with clinical experience working with population ages ranging from adolescence to late adulthood with a wide range of mental health concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, trauma/grief, career challenges, and family and relationship issues.  Glenn earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Clark University in 1992 and has spent over 25 years working in finance in management, training, and client advisory roles. Glenn felt a higher calling, went back to school, and achieved a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. Glenn has also received a certificate in nutrition from Cornell University.

Glenn’s counseling experience ranges from High School and University counseling, Inpatient and Outpatient Rehabilitation facilities, to Individual/Couples/Group counseling. Glenn is passionate about establishing a strong therapeutic relationship with his clients and believes most solutions to mental health issues are best addressed with a holistic “whole person” approach. Glenn practices a person-centered approach, gradually pulling in other theoretical disciplines such as Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existentialism, and Mindfulness techniques. As a practitioner of holistic mental health, Glenn believes solutions can be found in the analysis of a client’s nutritional intake, sleep patterns, and physical activity in addition to traditional talk therapy.
