Megan Kelly, MSW, LSW
Megan Kelly, LSW, is a dedicated clinician with a strong background in both medical and community-based settings. She has experience supporting individuals and families through challenges such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, chronic illness adjustment, crisis situations, psychiatric concerns, abuse and neglect reporting, and complex family dynamics.
Before joining Navesink Wellness Center, Megan served as an Emergency Department Case Manager at Hackensack University Medical Center, where she provided crisis intervention, discharge planning, psychiatric placement, safety planning, and resource coordination. She also has experience in palliative care at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, where she worked with patients and families navigating serious illness, anticipatory grief, and end-of-life planning. In addition, Megan has worked in aging services, supporting older adults and their families with care planning, resource connection, and legal and financial support.
Megan’s diverse clinical background allows her to connect with clients across the lifespan, from young adults through older adults. She is especially attuned to the emotional impact of medical challenges, family transitions, grief, and high-stress life events. Her goal is to help clients feel supported, understood, and empowered as they navigate difficult circumstances.
As a therapist, Megan emphasizes collaboration, compassion, and respect in her work. She believes that healing begins with a safe therapeutic relationship where clients feel heard and valued, and she strives to guide clients toward meaningful growth and improved well-being.
