Elizabeth is a Licensed Professional counselor (LPC) a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) , a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP).
She has been honored in her practice to accompany women as they confront life on life’s terms. Career change, marriage, divorce, lifestyle change, children leaving the nest, aging parents, grief and loss, trauma and abuse, questions of identity, quest for happiness and fulfillment, existential questions and addiction and recovery.
Her counseling approach incorporates the wellness model of integrating mind, body and spirit in treating the whole person.
and believes that a trusting therapeutic relationship is at the heart of growth and healing. Among the techniques utilized are CBT, Mindfulness, and Strength-Based therapies. Elizabeth also has extensive training in Brainspotting, which is a mindfulness-based psychotherapy practice that connects a felt sense in the body with a relevant eye position to promote healing deep within the brain.
